MYP Physics

At HEMTOR, our MYP Physics program is designed to ignite curiosity and build a strong conceptual foundation in the physical sciences, encouraging students to explore the laws that govern the universe.

This course covers fundamental topics such as motion, forces, energy, waves, electricity, and the structure of matter, all within the context of real-world phenomena. Students are challenged to think critically, apply scientific reasoning, and use models and experiments to explain and predict physical behavior.

Our approach emphasizes the scientific method, data analysis, and the clear communication of ideas using appropriate scientific language and conventions. Students engage in hands-on investigations and collaborative problem-solving activities that promote inquiry, reflection, and a deep understanding of physics concepts.
